Scientific Name : Schefflera arboricola

Common Name : Dwarf Umbrella Tree

It is an evergreen shrub and its leaves are palmately compound, with 7–9 leaflets, with a wedge-shaped base, entire margin, and an obtuse or acute apex, sometimes emarginate. The leaves are leathery in texture, shiny green, glabrous on the upper surface and somewhat lighter and matte on the underside.Schefflera arboricola is a popular houseplant  for its tolerance of neglect and poor growing conditions. The best indoor, less maintenance plant and ideal for home and offices.

PLANT CARE INSTRUCTIONS

LIGHT : Place the plant under shelter with as much light as possible without exposure to direct sunlight. 

WATERING : Pour water over the expanded clay aggregates until the red needle in the water-leve indicator reaches the optimum mark (1/2). Only add water when the red needle in the indicator reaches the minimum mark (min). NEVER BEFORE.

FERTILIZER : Dissolve 1 capful of Island Liquid Nutrient to 1 liter of water and pour the diluted nutrient over the expanded clay aggregates. Apply every alternate watering of your hydrocuture plants.
